Our Story
From Missed Chances to a Global Movement
Opportunities Bridge was born from a personal truth: we were once in your shoes.
Back in 2018, our co-founders, then students from different parts of the world, struggled to find global opportunities due to lack of guidance and access. One missed a fully-funded fellowship just weeks after the deadline—a moment that still drives us today.
Eventually, we found life-changing programs, but only after years of searching and rejections. We realized millions of talented students face the same barriers—not from lack of ambition, but from lack of access.
So in 2022, we decided to build Opportunities Bridge.
What started as a shared Google Sheet turned into a global platform. From students in rural Kenya to young women in South Asia, we've helped thousands discover opportunities they never knew existed.
